Monolith Productions, the brains behind the groundbreaking Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, is one of the casualties. It's a real shame to see such talent go to waste, especially when they've given us gaming gems like the Nemesis system. But alas, the gaming industry can be a cruel mistress, and cost-cutting measures are becoming all too common.
Meanwhile, over in the world of Microsoft, the highly anticipated Fable action RPG has been hit with a delay, pushing its release to 2026. But fear not, gamers, because Microsoft has unveiled some tantalizing new gameplay footage to whet our appetites.
